There is an emphasis on our children, youth, and adults growing in their
Christian faith through a complete, expanding Christian Education
program. We have responsible leadership at all levels of this
participation-oriented, nurturing program which is firmly grounded in
the Word of God. Together we seek God’s guidance for our lives through
the Bible. Classes are offered on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and there is a
fully staffed Vacation Bible School each summer. Age groups for classes
range from nursery through adult.
Circleville United Methodist Church encourages strong family ties both in the home and in the church. Social activities planned throughout the year are well attended as we enjoy being together in Christian fellowship. Busy people take time to participate in events such as the strawberry festival, hayrides, bus trips, Christmas caroling, and the church picnic. Family nights have been growing in popularity and provide a time for all ages to have fun with their church family.
he U.M.Y.F. hold weekly Sunday evening meetings. Our teens study God’s teachings and apply them to everyday life. This is a vital and popular organization for young people who get involved with community service. They have fun together on outings such as ski trips, all-night bowling, and retreats. Our youth are called to Christ through fellowship, growth, and service.
Missions is fundamental to the life of Circleville United Methodist Church. The congregation participates in many yearly projects through prayer, service, and financial support. Local outreach activities include local disasters, nursing homes, food banks, and homeless shelters. We also support mission activities abroad.
